Cards on the table. Nothing in my background, my education, in my role as wife, mother, grandmother, in my career, interests and hobbies, prepared me for this extraordinary adventure…and yet it all did. I claim no credentials in the areas of spirituality, world religions, evolutionary history, healing, quantum physics, biology or cosmology, yet I write about them all. I do so by weaving together my own research from esteemed scholars and practitioners together with downloads of information from ethereal sources.

I think of my life unfolding (thus far) in two parts. The first firmly grounded in the realities of navigating life in the third dimension that found me enjoying a rather secure, safe and happy life. I had the privilege of growing up in a middle class nuclear family and going on to create my own with a steady and loving partner, two children, their partners and four grandchildren with whom I enjoy a close relationship. A successful career spanning the public, private and not for profit sectors led to early retirement featuring much travel, the cottage, active leisure activities and a prodigious amount of reading. Who could possibly need or want anything more? Apparently me.

The luxury of time to think, to contemplate, exposed a hole that was yearning to be filled. It was not a hole that could be filled with more trips, a fancier house or a lower golf score, but by something I could not quite put my finger on. There was just something in my deepest knowing that there was more to this earthly existence that was awaiting my awakening.That is when my close friend, who also happens to be my sister-in-law, finally revealed that she had been on a personal quest of her own for several years, and wanted to share. She was witnessing my declining health and vitality that signalled that something was amiss with my immune system. She had resisted opening up to me as I was, admittedly, a left brained skeptic. But when she did, much to her surprise and perhaps my own, I was immediately all in. I became a seeker, with a beginners mind open to what lies beyond what we can see, feel, sense, hear and touch. And perhaps more importantly, to peel back the layers of the persona I had so carefully constructed to “fit in”, to remember who I truly am at my essence. A divine soul having an earthly experience. Capable of wielding an inner power to uplift, to heal, to always becoming the person I was meant to be. And so together, Diane and I, the ordinary people that we are, were called to do something extraordinary. Creating a methodology for all of us ordinary souls to expose our extraordinary potential. Our journeys continue and while we may be embarking on slightly different yet complimentary paths, we will always honour our karmic relationship, pushing each other to ever higher levels of consciousness.
